Clause 5

Section 12(1) of the Factories Act is amended by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (c) and substituting a semi-colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(d)the floors, walls, work benches and other surfaces of any workplace shall be disinfected by suitable means if they are likely to be contaminated with any disease-causing organism.”.
