Clause 2

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (b) of subsection (3), the following paragraph:“(ba)that there is no warrant of arrest issued under section 54 of the Criminal Procedure Code [Cap. 68] against the applicant in respect of any offence committed by him under this Act or the rules or any written law specified in Part I of the Schedule;”; and

by inserting, immediately after subsection (6), the following subsections:“(7) Subject to subsection (8), the Minister may, by notification published in the Gazette, amend Part I of the Schedule.(8) The Minister shall, before exercising his powers under subsection (7), consult the Minister responsible for the written law to which the amendment relates.”.
