Clause 199

Taking person performing duty to sea

If any person performing his duties or functions under this Act is taken to sea in a ship without his consent, the owner and the master of the ship shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 and shall both be jointly and severally liable to pay all expenses incidental to the person’s return to duty.
