Unqualified persons going to sea as qualified officers
(1)
If a person goes to sea as a qualified officer, doctor or seaman of any description without being such a qualified officer, doctor or seaman, that person shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding, $5,000.
(2)
In this section, “qualified” means qualified for the purposes of section 47.
