Clause 27

Obstruction

Any person who —

(a)

refuses any authorised officer access to any vessel, aircraft, vehicle or place which the officer is entitled under this Act or any regulations made thereunder; or

(b)

obstructs or hinders any authorised officer in the execution of any duty imposed or power conferred upon that officer by this Act or any regulations made under section 3,shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $15,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
