Clause 33
Wilful damage to Government’s property and hindrance of Authority’s use of such property
If any person —
(a)
wilfully removes, destroys or damages any property belonging to the Government by virtue of this Act or acquired by the Government for the purposes thereof; or
(b)
hinders or prevents such property from being used or operated in the manner in which it is intended to be used or operated,he shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both and the court may order him to pay compensation to the Government for any damage done by him.
