Clause 54

Repeal, transitional provisions and savings

(1)

The Local Government Integration Act [Cap. 166] is repealed.

(2)

Any —

(a)

scheme, contract, document or resolution prepared, made or approved; or

(b)

approval, consent, permit, permission, authority, authorisation or licence granted,under the Local Government Integration Act repealed by this Act shall, except where otherwise expressly provided in this Act or in any other written law, continue and be deemed to have been prepared, made, approved or granted, as the case may be, under this Act.

(3)

The savings set out in the Second Schedule shall have effect.
