Clause 2

Section 2 of the Small Claims Tribunals Act (referred to in this Act as the principal Act) is amended by inserting, immediately after the definition of “party”, the following definition:“ “prescribed limit” means $5,000 or such other sum as the Minister may, after consultation with the Chief Justice, by order published in the Gazette, substitute therefor;”.
