Clause 25

Destruction, damage, etc., of certain objects, notices, boundary marks or other things prohibited

(1)

No person shall wilfully or negligently destroy, damage or deface any object of zoological, botanical, geological, ethnological, scientific or aesthetic interest within any national park, nature reserve or green area.

(2)

No person shall destroy, damage, deface or remove any notice, boundary mark or other thing whatsoever within any national park, nature reserve or green area.

(3)

Any person who contravenes subsection (1) or (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
