Miscellaneous amendments
The principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “receipt,” in the fourth line of section 8(1);
(b)
by deleting the words “(not being a promissory note or bill of exchange)” in section 30(1) and (2);
(c)
by deleting the words “section 275” in section 31(1) and substituting the words “section 139”; and
(d)
by deleting the words “section 44 or 46” in the following provisions and substituting in each case the words “section 46”:sections 48, 49, 52(a), 53(1) and (2) and 64(2).
