Clause 16
Transitional provision
Section 5 of this Act shall not apply to any person who, before the date of commencement of this Act —
(a)
has attained the age of 16 years but who is under the age of 18 years; and
(b)
has been issued with a driving licence to drive a motor vehicle,and section 62 of the Road Traffic Act in force immediately before that date shall continue to apply to such person as if this Act had not been enacted.
