Clause 1
Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Legal Profession (Amendment) Act 1996 and shall, with the exception of section 9, come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.(2) Section 9 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st September 1996.
