Amendment of section 42

Section 42 of the Women’s Charter is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “and he shall thereupon cause the entry in the local marriage register to be corrected in the same manner” in the seventh, eighth and ninth lines of subsection (1); and

(b)

by deleting the words “and the local marriage register” in subsection (2).
