Clause 15
Appointment of Director, Deputy Director and Assistant Directors of Hazardous Waste
(1)
The Minister shall appoint a Director of Hazardous Waste who shall be responsible for the performance of the duties and functions assigned to the Director under this Act.
(2)
The Minister may appoint a Deputy Director and such number of Assistant Directors as he may think necessary to assist the Director in the proper discharge of his duties and functions under this Act.
(3)
The Director shall have the superintendence of all matters relating to this Act, subject to the direction and control of the Minister.
(4)
The Deputy Director and Assistant Directors shall be subject to the general direction and supervision of the Director and, subject thereto, shall have and exercise all the powers conferred on the Director by this Act.
