Clause 16
Appointment of authorised officers
(1)
The Director may, by writing —
(a)
appoint an eligible person to be an authorised officer; or
(b)
appoint a class of eligible persons to be authorised officers,for the purposes of this Act.
(2)
A person who is an authorised officer shall cease to be an authorised officer if the person ceases to be an eligible person.
(3)
For the purposes of this section, an eligible person shall be any public officer or any officer of a statutory body.
