Clause 36
Obstruction of Director, etc.
Any person who —
hinders, obstructs or molests the Director or an authorised officer, in the performance and execution of his duty or of anything which he is empowered or required to do under this Act;
interferes with any work authorised to be executed under this Act; or
fails to facilitate by all reasonable means the entry and inspection of any searchable place by the Director or an authorised officer or the making of any test which the Director or an authorised officer is empowered under this Act,shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
