Evidentiary certificate — environmentally sound management of hazardous or other waste
(1)
The Director may issue a written certificate stating that engaging, or failing to engage, in specified conduct in relation to specified hazardous or other waste is, or is not, environmentally sound management of that waste for the purposes of this Act.
(2)
In any proceedings relating to this Act, a certificate issued under subsection (1) is prima facie evidence of the matters stated in the certificate.
(3)
A copy of a certificate under subsection (1) shall be published in the Gazette.
