Clause 9

Any person who is appointed to any office before the commencement of section 7 under any of the provisions of the Acts specified in the first column of the Second Schedule shall continue in his appointment to that office as if he had been appointed under that same provision as amended by this Act.

Any rule, order or other subsidiary legislation made and in force immediately before the commencement of section 7 under any of the provisions of the Acts specified in the first column of the Second Schedule shall be deemed to have been made under that same provision as amended by this Act.
