Clause 21

Amendment of First Schedule

The First Schedule to the principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph 13, the following paragraphs:“14. The financial year of the Majlis shall begin on 1st January and end on 31st December in each year.

15. This Schedule shall apply to the accounts of the General Endowment Fund, the Mosque Building and Mendaki Fund and such other accounts as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, specify.”.
