Amendment of section 5

Section 5 of the principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (3), the following subsections:“(4) The Majlis may, with the approval of the Minister, form or participate in the formation of any company, or enter into any joint venture or partnership, to carry out any of the purposes of this Act.(5) The Majlis may do such other acts as appear to the Majlis to be incidental or necessary to the discharge of its functions and duties under this Act.”.
