Clause 5

Section 16 of the Films Act is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (2), the following subsections:“(2A) The Board may require the owner of a film to deposit such security as may be prescribed for the due performance by the owner of all or any of the conditions imposed under subsection (2) in relation to the classification of the film.(2B) Without prejudice to subsection (3), any security deposited under subsection (2A) may be forfeited in whole or in part at the discretion of the Board if any condition imposed under subsection (2) is contravened or not complied with.”.
