Clause 62

Where a certification authority has been carrying on or operating as a certification authority before the appointed day and it has obtained a licence in accordance with the regulations made under section 42 within 6 months after the appointed day, all certificates issued by such certification authority before the appointed day, to the extent that they satisfy the requirements under this Act or any regulations made thereunder, shall be deemed to have been issued under this Act by a licensed certification authority and shall have effect accordingly.

In this section, “appointed day” means the date of commencement of this Act.
