Clause 11

The principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after section 14K, the following section:“Further deduction for expenses incurred in relocation or recruitment of overseas talent14L. The Minister may by regulations provide that, for the purpose of ascertaining the income of any person or class of persons carrying on a trade, profession or business, there shall be allowed to such person or class of persons a further deduction, in addition to the deduction allowed under section 14, of any prescribed expenses incurred in relocating or recruiting any prescribed employee from outside Singapore to be employed in Singapore by the person or class of persons.”.
