Clause 35
Court for trial of offences
Any offence under this Act or any regulations made thereunder may be tried by a District Court or a Magistrate’s Court and such Court shall, notwithstanding the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code (Cap. 68) and any other written law, have jurisdiction to impose the maximum penalty provided for by this Act or the regulations.
