Clause 28

Scope and nature of licence

(1)

A licence granted under section 27 is —

(a)

both non-exclusive and non-assignable;

(b)

subject to the payment to the qualified owner of the remuneration specified in the Court order under section 27(3).

(2)

An act done pursuant to a licence granted under section 27 in relation to a protected layout-design is not to be taken into account in calculating the duration of protection of the layout-design referred to in section 7.
