Clause 28
Obstructing officers in execution of their duties
Any person who obstructs, hinders or impedes the Director or any veterinary public health officer, police officer or officer of customs or any other person acting under the direction of the Director, in the performance or execution of his duty or anything which he is authorised, empowered or required to do under this Act or the rules shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
