Clause 6

Licence for use of scheduled premises

(1)

No person shall occupy or use any scheduled premises specified in the First Schedule without a licence granted by the Director.

(2)

Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence.

(3)

Any application for a licence under this section shall be made to the Director giving details of —

(a)

the trade, industry or process proposed to be carried in or on the premises;

(b)

the measures the applicant undertakes to adopt to control air, water and noise pollution from the premises; and

(c)

the measures the applicant undertakes to adopt to manage hazardous substances and to treat and dispose of toxic substances originating from or stored within the premises.
