Consequential Amendments
FOURTH SCHEDULESection 78(4)Consequential AmendmentsReferences to the repealed Clean Air Act
1. In any written law, any reference to the repealed Clean Air Act (Cap. 45) shall be read as a reference to this Act.References to Director of Air Pollution Control
2. In any written law, any reference to the Director of Air Pollution Control shall be read as a reference to the Director of Environmental Pollution Control.Amendments to the Environmental Public Health Act
3. Part VI of the Environmental Public Health Act (Cap. 95) is repealed.Amendments to the Poisons Act
4. The Poisons Act (Cap. 234) is amended —
by deleting the words “where the poison is one not included in Part II of the Poisons List,” in section 6(1)(a)(v);
by deleting the words “Part I of” in section 20(1)(c)(ii);
by deleting the words “Part I” wherever they appear in the Schedule; and
by deleting Part II of the Schedule.Amendments to the Medicines (Advertisement and Sale) Act
5. The Medicines (Advertisement and Sale) Act (Cap. 177) is amended by deleting the words “in Part I of the Schedule” in sections 3(2)(f) and 6(3)(b)(iv) and substituting in each case the words “set out in the Schedule”.
