Amendment of section 36
Section 36 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting paragraphs (b), (g), (h) and (i) of subsection (1);
(b)
by inserting, at the end of paragraph (e) of subsection (1), the word “and”;
(c)
by deleting the word “society;” in the last line of paragraph (f) of subsection (1) and substituting the words “society unless the instrument relates to any immovable property where, but for this exemption, the purchaser of the property, not being a co-operative society would, in accordance with section 34, be the person liable to pay the duty chargeable on that instrument.”; and
(d)
by deleting subsection (2).
