Clause 39

Any reference to a Government stamp or stamp in Schedule A to the Criminal Procedure Code (Cap. 68) and in sections 255 to 262 of the Penal Code (Cap. 224) shall be read as including a reference to a stamp certificate issued under the principal Act as amended by this Act.

Section 73 of the Trustees Act (Cap. 337) is amended by deleting the words “a stamp denoting the payment of that duty shall be impressed or affixed upon such application” and substituting the words “the payment of that duty shall be denoted by a stamp certificate attached to the application”.
