Clause 6

Amendment of section 7

Section 7 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “are to be” in the 2nd line of subsection (2) and substituting the words “may be”;

(b)

by deleting the words “requiring an impressed stamp” in the 3rd line of subsection (2) and substituting the words “, the duty upon which is permitted to be denoted by an impressed stamp,”; and

(c)

by deleting the word “No” in subsection (7) and substituting the words “Subject to section 6A, no”.
