Amendment of section 23

Section 23 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “, whether such statement is oral or in writing,” in the 3rd and 4th lines of paragraph (d);

(b)

by deleting “$1,000” in the penultimate line and substituting “$5,000”; and

(c)

by deleting the words “6 months” in the last line and substituting the words “12 months”.
