Amendment of section 8
Section 8 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “The Minister” in the 1st line of subsection (1) and substituting the words “The Authority, with the approval of the Minister,”;
(b)
by deleting the word “and” at the end of subsection (2)(a); and
(c)
by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (b) of subsection (2) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(c)prescribe the manner and means by which charges prescribed under section 9(1) may be paid and collected, including the use of such electronic or computerised facilities, devices and appurtenances as may be installed by the Authority for the purpose.”.
