Clause 45

In this Part —“appointed day” means the date of commencement of this Act;“previous Board” means the Singapore Nursing Board established under section 3 of the repealed Act;“previous Regulations” means the Nurses and Midwives Regulations (Cap. 209, Rg 1);“register of midwives” means the register of midwives maintained in pursuance of the repealed Act;“register of nurses” means the register of nurses maintained in pursuance of the repealed Act;“repealed Act” means the Nurses and Midwives Act (Cap. 209) repealed by section 46;“roll of nurses” means the roll of nurses maintained in pursuance of the repealed Act.
