Clause 2

by inserting, immediately after the word “means” in the definition of “member”, the words “, except for the purposes of Part VII,”; and

by renumbering that section as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection:“(2) Where the name of the body corporate known in this Act as the Singapore International Monetary Exchange Limited is changed pursuant to the Companies Act (Cap. 50), the change of name shall not affect the identity of that body corporate or the application of the relevant provisions of this Act or any other written law to that body corporate.”.
