Amendment of section 62
Section 62 of the Factories Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “workers” in the 1st and in the last lines of subsection (1) and substituting in each case the word “persons”;
(b)
by inserting, immediately after the word “process” in the 2nd line of subsection (1) and in subsection (2), the words “or work”; and
(c)
by deleting subsection (7) and substituting the following subsection:“(7) The Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, specify the types of clothing and appliances to be provided for the purposes of this section.”.
