Amendment of section 7
Section 7 of the Factories Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the word “used” in the 9th line of the definition of “machinery” in subsection (1), the word “solely”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (4), the following subsection:“(5) For the purposes of this Act, any reference to the health of a person shall, where that person is pregnant, include the health of any unborn child which that person is carrying.”.
