Amendment of section 9
Section 9 of the Factories Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “2 months” in the 3rd line of subsection (2) and substituting the words “one month”; and
(b)
by deleting the words “Notwithstanding subsection (2), the Chief Inspector may by rules modify the requirements under that subsection in respect of any” in the 1st and 2nd lines of subsection (3) and substituting the words “Subsections (1) and (2) shall not apply to”.
