Clause 6

Amendment of section 10

Section 10(1) of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting paragraph (a) and substituting the following paragraph:“(a)to provide leadership and direction to the volunteer movement and co-ordinate social service activities between Council members and with other organisations;”; and

(b)

by deleting paragraph (d) and substituting the following paragraph:“(d)to establish and maintain the standards and guidelines for the management and administration of, and the provision of social service by, Council members;”.
