Clause 8

Amendment of Moneylenders Act

The Moneylenders Act (Cap. 188, 1985 Ed.) is amended —

(a)

by repealing section 17;

(b)

by deleting the words “stamped” and “duly stamped” in the 3rd line and in the 6th line of section 20(5), respectively; and

(c)

by deleting the words “stamp duties,” in the 4th and 5th lines of section 26.
