Clause 7

Penalties

(1)

Any person who is guilty of an offence under section 3(2) shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.

(2)

Any person who —

(a)

refuses to attend any hearing of the Board;

(b)

refuses to furnish any information or produce any document to the Board;

(c)

furnishes any information or produces any document which is false in a material particular and which he knows to be false or does not believe to be true; or

(d)

obstructs or impedes the Director-General, the Board or any person acting under the direction of the Board,shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
