Clause 30

Powers to inspect premises, etc.

(1)

The Board may in writing authorise any officer —

(a)

to enter and inspect any premises which are used or proposed to be used, or in respect of which there is reasonable cause to believe that they are being used, for the carrying out of any prescribed practice of traditional Chinese medicine;

(b)

to inquire into and to report to the Board the conditions under which any prescribed practice of traditional Chinese medicine is being or is proposed to be carried out by any person;

(c)

to observe the conduct by any person of any course in any prescribed practice of traditional Chinese medicine; and

(d)

to enter and inspect any premises where any such course is or is proposed to be conducted.

(2)

Any person who wilfully obstructs a duly authorised person in the exercise of his authority under subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000.
