Amendment of section 2
Section 2 of the Prisons Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately before the definition of “Director”, the following definition:“ “Corporation” means the Singapore Corporation of Rehabilitative Enterprises established under the Singapore Corporation of Rehabilitative Enterprises Act (Cap. 298);”; and
(b)
by deleting the definition of “prison officer” and substituting the following definition:“ “prison officer” means any prison officer appointed under section 8 but does not include the Director or any Superintendent;”.
