Reimbursement from Government
(1)
Subject to subsection (2), every employer who makes payment to a female employee at her gross rate of pay in accordance with section 9 shall be entitled to claim reimbursement from the Government in accordance with the regulations made under section 20 of —
(a)
the amount of such payment; and
(b)
any contribution which the employer is liable to make in respect of such payment under the Central Provident Fund Act (Cap. 36) which is not recoverable from the employee’s wages.
(2)
No employer shall be entitled to claim reimbursement from the Government of an amount exceeding $20,000 in respect of each female employee who is entitled to payment at her gross rate of pay under section 9.
