Amendment of section 39
Section 39 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “subsection (1A)” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “subsections (1A) and (2A)”;
(b)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (2), the following subsection:“(2A) Subject to section 7, an overseas elector shall also be entitled to be admitted to vote at the overseas polling station allotted to him under section 13A(3).”; and
(c)
by inserting, immediately after the words “in the Gazette” in subsection (3), the words “or under section 50C(3)(b)”.
