Amendment of section 43
Section 43 of the Banking Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the word “bank” in the 3rd line, the words “in Singapore”; and
(b)
by renumbering the section as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection:“(2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), such inspection may be conducted in respect of activities of the bank that are regulated or licensed by the Authority under any other Act.”.
