Licence fee
(1)
A licensed person shall pay such licence fee in respect of each regulated activity as may be prescribed by the Authority.
(2)
Any licence fee paid to the Authority in respect of any regulated activity shall not be refunded if —
the licence is revoked or suspended, or lapses during the period to which the licence fee relates;
the licence fee is paid in relation to an application for the renewal of a licence and such application is withdrawn after the date on which, but for its renewal, the licence would have expired;
the licensed person ceases to carry on business in that regulated activity during the period to which the licence fee relates; or
a prohibition order has been made against the licensed person under section 95.
(3)
Subject to subsection (2), the Authority may, where it considers appropriate, refund the whole or part of any licence fee paid to it.
