Clause 18

Notification of change in particulars, etc.

(1)

Where —

(a)

a licensed financial adviser ceases to act as a financial adviser; or

(b)

a change occurs in any matter in relation to a licensed financial adviser, particulars of which are required to be entered in the register of licensees under section 63,the licensed financial adviser shall, not later than 14 days after the occurrence of that event, furnish particulars of the event to the Authority in the prescribed form.

(2)

Where —

(a)

a licensed representative ceases to be the representative of a licensed financial adviser; or

(b)

a change occurs in any matter in relation to a licensed representative, particulars of which are required to be entered in the register of licensees under section 63,the licensed representative shall, not later than 14 days after the occurrence of that event, furnish particulars of the event to the Authority in the prescribed form.

(3)

A person who ceases to act as a licensed financial adviser or a licensed representative, as the case may be, shall immediately thereafter return the licence to the Authority

(4)

Any person who, without reasonable excuse, contravenes this section shall be guilty of an offence.
