Clause 43

Particulars of financial journalists

(1)

The Authority may, by notice in writing, require the proprietor or publisher of a newspaper to supply him with the name and address of any financial journalist who has contributed any advice, analysis or report concerning securities that has been published in the newspaper, within such period as may be specified in the notice.

(2)

Any proprietor or publisher of a newspaper who, without reasonable excuse, contravenes a notice under subsection (1), shall be guilty of an offence.
