Amendment of section 53
Section 53 of the Insurance Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “Regulations” in the 1st line of subsection (1) and substituting the words “Without prejudice to the generality of section 64(1), regulations”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after the word “insurers” in subsection (2), the words “or insurance intermediaries”.
